Frequently Asked Questions

How can RPM-CARE know if my dad is sleeping well, or if he is developing a UTI?

It's all about the baseline. We all have different habits, which means that what is normal to one can be alarming to another. That’s why in the first 2 weeks, we learn each senior’s baseline. We interview the caregiver and set the system to what they would consider to be “normal” or “routine” behaviors. Then, we map the various activities to specific time of day and night. If someone who sleeps most nights with no interruption 3 hours nightly, and then wakes up every 2 hours, and now for few nights they wake to use the bathroom every hour, this can serve as a good indication that a UTI is possibly developing.

How do you know if a senior is eating or drinking?

We use data from the wearable wrist band to track the number of cups drank each day.

How do you alert caregivers and loved ones of falls?

The wearable tech sends out instant alerts in the event of a fall. It uses high-tech sensors to detect falls.

How do you protect the senior’s privacy?

This is not a camera , nor does it have listening capabilities. Instead, these are sophisticated monitors that track gestures and movements, and then analyze the data that comes in.   communications with doctors are secure and HIPPA compliant.

I have a daily caregiver for my loved one, so why would I need this tech as well?

What differs you from one of the many fall alert systems?

Even if you have 24/7 care for your loved one, the AI system provides a safeguard that sees what your caregiver might miss. Remember, humans cannot spot tiny changes to baselines, but AI can.

Everything. Fall alert systems and a call for help button are only part of what our system offers. We are RPM (Remote patient monitoring)  early warning system supported with robust AI software that monitors and  alerts on nearly every aspect of your loved one’s wellbeing. Additionally, we prevent risk with predictive analysis. For instance, we will try to notify you when “dad is not drinking enough,” before he is dehydrated to the point where he suffers an emergency. We are different that's why the service is paid by Medicare.

How can RPM-CARE service  cost as low as $0?

More Questions?

Currently, Medicare reimburses patients for RPM and Telehealth visits to the doctor. Since our system provides doctors with data remotely and allows them to monitor their patients on a 24/7 basis, it falls under that realm. This means that our system can be fully reimbursed by Medicare. All you need to do is give us your doctor’s info, and we will take care of the rest.
